This Hugo Boss shirt fit guide covers the three different cuts of shirts:
- Regular Fit – the widest at the chest and waist of the three I have measured. The ratio of chest to waist changes as the collar size gets larger. At smaller collar sizes like the 15 the chest is larger than the waist. At the 18.5 collar the waist is larger than the chest.
- Slim Fit – About three inches slimmer through the chest and waist than the Regular Fit and follows the same pattern where as the collar size gets larger, the difference between the chest and waist gets smaller.
- Extra Slim Fit – The narrowest Hugo Boss shirt. At larger sizes this has a noticeable tailoring at the waist, so could be suitable for those who work out a lot.
- Relaxed Fit – This was not available for sale when I went into the shop. I’ll add data on this soon.
In the tables below all measurements are in inches. When comparing the shirt measurements and your body measurements remember the following.
- For the chest the shirt circumference should be six inches larger than the body measurement for a comfortable fit. Four inches for a tighter fit.
- For the waist the shirt circumference should be four inches larger than the body measurement for a comfortable fit. Three inches for a tighter fit.
